I was surprised by MonaVie’s actions. It seems like they asked the distributor to just take down the offending material. Mitch Biggs is still allowed to distribute MonaVie and collect a pay check that were highly likely earned on a number of illegal claims.

Vogel’s got a good point here, there are piles and piles of this. We could spend all day being MonaVie’s unpaid compliance team. That really doesn’t sound interesting to me. It’s like putting your finger in a dam to block a leak and another three leaks appear. The best plan is to realize that the whole dam is poorly constructed and it’s time to start over. That’s where MonaVie is with it’s distribution system. It’s got too many leaks and they can’t plug them up themselves, so the right thing to do is kill the MLM distribution and put it in stores where people don’t have the monetary incentive to make illegal claims.

As for the rest of this thread, MonaVie did shut down the guy making this shirt. It helps them in several ways. For one, MonaVie doesn’t have to compete with him to sell shirts. For another, they protect their trademark. Lastly, they don’t get the middle of Google bringing a smackdown on this guy.

BS!!!! First of all, there are scads of claims being made on the internet; we’ve uncovered numerous examples. We’ve even put the screws to some these bastards to force them to stop making illegal claims. If we can do it, so can the company, but they don’t because they profit from those claims. Secondly, I don’t really give a rat’s a$$ whether it’s the company or its distributors making the claims – if the company is in essence giving loaded handguns to toddlers, then they bear responsibility for the consequences. Third, it is not an accident that distributors are making these claims — it is by design. You can see that the Black Diamonds are the source of the illegal claims in many cases, and even the company is guilty of doing so directly — for example the company posted a story on the corporate website about Monavie aiding in someone’s’ recovery from brain injury; Dallin Larsen said that it would help his mother’s arthritis; Brig Hart’s infamous Geoff Bodine video was riddled with illegal claims; Jason Lyons’ video featured a doctor-impersonating rapist (Lou Niles) who claimed that Monavie could cure cancer; Randy Marsh at the MV convention taunted the FDA and stood by griining like a puckers a-hole while distributors were giving illegal disease cure testimonials in front of a packed audience.

In other words, do not try and lay this pathetic nonsensical BS on us about how it isn’t the company’s fault. It IS the company’s fault and they will burn for it.

No, I’ll report them to the FDA and FTC in an effort to have them shut down once and for all. If I can find examples of illegal claims – and I have because they are abundant – then so can the company. We shouldn’t be expected to do their job for them. They can’t continue to sit back and keep pretending that they are guiltless in this chronic fraud. The push to make illegal claims comes straight from the top and it always has. Dallin Larceny did the exact same thing with Royal Tongan Limu until the Feds shut them down, destroyed their inventory, and fined them into oblivion. Dallin turned around and perpetrated the exact same devious scam with Monavie.
