Gillian, snake oil is also all-natural. Why not take some snake oil to relieve your cancer?

Cancer is a serious issue. If you would rather leave your health in the hands of a few "scientists" who make a "cure-all" juice instead of in the hands of a doctor who has been approved for studying cancer, then that's your choice. In my opinion, becoming an oncologist is much harder than becoming a person who studies berries. But hey, that might just be me.

Gillian said: “I have had cancer twice. I am a 63 year old female. I take Monavie and I love it. I don't care what you believe. It has relieved my pain caused by osteoarthritis in my joints and I believe has kept my recurring sarcoma at bay. I will continue to buy it and drink it. I would rather drink this than take any prescription a doctor may”

Challenge accepted! Post your name and your doctor's contact info. We'll verify that you you are off all your medications and ensure that you get nothing but Monavie from now on, no matter how sick you get.
Gillian. Do what you need to do to keep your mind strong and fighting the cancer but please, read Monavie's OWN studies about the level of anti-oxidant's in Monavie. You don't have to "believe" us. That is not the point of this web site, believe it or not, we are trying to help and warn people. I was led to believe exactly what you do, that this was an incredibly healthy, natural product chock full of anti-oxidants. It is simply not true. Monavie has less anti-oxidants then an apple a day. Again, this is based on Monavie's own studies.

Regarding your pain, I know people that have started taking liquid glucosamine and found it tremendously helpful, and much cheaper.

Please don't read these articles with a closed mind. Your health is too important.

Well, MonaVie isn't approved to do any of the things you say. There are no clinical tests proving any of it. MonaVie would obviously put their product through clinical trials if it could do any of the things you claim because they would make billions replacing the prescription medicines.

Not all medicines have adverse side effects. They are required in the commercials to disclose anything that came out in clinical trials. I've had people write me about the adverse side effects from drinking MonaVie. Same thing with the medicine that you see in commercials.

MonaVie does not have 19 antioxidants. You should spend more time reading about the product before you make these claims.

If you prefer to take a natural source, then eat fresh fruit. It is much more natural than freeze drying fruit into a powder and reconstituting it as a juice.

I'm not sure what your religion is, but I have yet to see one that says God Almighty grew a magical cure only in the Amazon rain forest. If so, this deity you worship must have really disliked the people who for thousands of years, didn't have access to this Amazon rain forest cure. I personally can't get behind that belief. (Plus science doesn't back up that acai is better than blueberries... to give one example.)

It has relieved my pain caused by osteoarthritis in my joints and I believe has kept my recurring sarcoma at bay. I will continue to buy it and drink it. I would rather drink this than take any prescription a doctor may give me as there are always side effects which then in turn require another prescription to deal with side effects. Watch the USA commercials, they advertise various drugs for different ailments but there are always adverse side effects (which I do believe could be fatal). On a personal level I would prefer to take a natural source product provided by God Almighty grown in the rain forest in the Amazon. Monavie has 19 antioxidants in one bottle to help fight free radicals and NO Side effects. What would you prefer to put in your body. Stop knocking a good product.

And what so funny about the fact that people who represent wellness industry all know it and people who are part of sickness industry all deny it?

I know many doctors who are part of wellness industry too. They are ethical and do not help pharma companies put profits in their pockets.

<b>[Editor's note: Yes and Dr. Andrew Weil (One of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2005) is probably the best known proponent of the wellness industry and he <a href="http://www.juicescam.com/dr-andrew-weil-on-monavie/" rel="nofollow">says the following</a>: "There are no reliable studies on any commercially available products containing acai… MonaVie is an expensive way to get your antioxidants – it sells for about $40 for a 25.3 ounce bottle. That works out to $4 to $6 per day if you use it as directed… Opt for organically grown blueberries, which are more available, much less expensive, and give you fiber as well as plenty of antioxidant activity…. As for the glucosamine in some MonaVie products, there are less expensive ways to get that, too."

The wellness industry is not MonaVie's friend either.]</b>

You screwed up the comment about antioxidants - Dr Niles is correct - antioxidants we need come from plants not from the meats as Vogel said. <b>[Editor's Note: Dr. Niles did not say that the antioxidants we need come plants. He said that antioxidants ONLY come from plants. That means there is no other non-plant source. Vogel was correct that antioxidants are in meat. The "we need" construct is something that you added which neither Lou Niles nor Vogel said.]</b>

I have never heard of pharmacy industry - but pharmacists are part of the pharma industry - some of them also influence the choice that customers make in unethical way - I hope your wife does not get any benefits from pharma companies for pointing which drugs your customers should purchase. <b>[Editor's Note: Perhaps you have been out of the loop about US phrama companies, but the last few years have seen a lot of crackdown on these practices and accepting these benefits are (I believe) illegal. As my wife works in compliance for CMS, she doesn't have any direct impact on any drug sales. It's more inspecting hospitals and nursing homes to make sure they in compliance.]</b>

“What Monavie is doing is creating an ability of the body to go back to nature and heal itself” (02:50)

This is correct – it is consistent with general knowledge and with “Food Matters” – one of main ideas that it is our body that is healing itself, and most of drugs merely reduce disease symptoms – he says MV is food it does not cure anything. [Editor's Note: It says that MonaVie plays a part in the healing process of the body. This is not shown to be true in any way, shape, or form.]

Of course, it has been shown in numerous studies that flavonols, and flavonoids have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant benefits. MV has been proved to increase level of anti-oxidants in vitro in human body. <b>[Editor's Note: It has not proven to do this more than regular cheap fruit. That's the important factor. The study didn't have enough people to proven to increase the level of antioxidants in vivo. It also didn't improve the level of antioxidants of those who had eaten a balanced diet.]</b>

You are losing this battle - best cut out all your stupid comments all over your site - rather than keep censoring me.

Next time, do not mess with the guy who has an MBA from the University of Chicago and who likes MV.

You'll lose every time.

And finally watch "Food matters" before you make a total fool out of yourself. If you care about educating public about healthy lifestyle, eating fruits, next time be more holistic in your approach - like you said be more open-minded - in your search for truth regarding MV you actually became very narrow-minded and reflecting views of big pharma who do not want us to be healthy - Good health is great but it does not make a lot of money for pharma companies.

<b>[Editor's Note: Please stop with the Food Matters... no is against good healthy food. MonaVie has repeatedly been shown to deficient in many areas of nutrition. Again, views of pharmaceuticals are irrelevant to the topic of MonaVie. If you don't like big pharma, I'm really proud of you. I don't like the New York Yankees. Let's get on the topic of MonaVie.]</b>

Actually I know quite a bit about the pharmacy industry. I was a former pharmacy technician. My wife is s pharmacist. (Note: This is where Tom is going to make the claim that that is my motivation for this website... because <a href="http://www.thedigeratilife.com/blog/monavie-consumers-standpoint/" rel="nofollow">he can't read the real story here</a>). I'm going to start marking Tom's conspiracy theory comments as spam. One's opinion of the pharmaceutical industry are not relevant to a discussion of MonaVie. It doesn't make Lou Niles' less illegal.

Of course Tom would rather die of polio because nothing good can from the "sickness industry." It's funny because people selling magnetic mattresses use the same exact argument. They are just trying to create a problem so that their snake oil product (<a href="http://www.juicescam.com/mens-journal-proves-monavie-lacks-nutrition/comment-page-2/#comment-8240" rel="nofollow">as Tom admitted MonaVie is</a>) becomes the solution.

"All that MV does it interfers with the ageing process"

“All that MV does it interfers with the ageing process”

The latest study from NIH confirms that acai has anti-aging properties.

Just shows how ignorant you are about a lot of things. And supposedly you are here to help public make the right decisions about their health.

“I very reluctantly got involved in it because I thought I would have a conflict of interest but now I realize that doctors – MDs – are the ones with conflict of interest when they send you out for prescriptions” (09:43) – [What an a-hole! He's the most dishonest crook imaginable and he has the gall to suggest that the real doctors are the ones scamming people]

What do you know about pharma industry? Nothing. There are many doctors that would not prescribe drugs that cause liver problems among other things but many do and they get rewarded somehow by pharma companies. But what do you know - you're just small insignificant toy for them - Have you watched "Food matters" yet? All that sickness industry mentality and a culture of "the pill for every ill"

I have spent 8 years in pharma business, the same company that your famous third party independent lab from Man's Health Journal - ChromaDex CEO got his general management education. I have seen big pharma's products being prescribed by MD's even though they caused serious side effects - yeah real MDs with screwed up principles and no moral values, people who are supposed to save our lives.

You're so lost and naive. Big pharma rule, and a small prick like yourself is just too small to even realize how insignificant he is in the hands of mighty pharma companies.

If on diabetes pharma companies make $145 Billion in US in profits - what incentives these pharma companies to tell you to completely change diet and start to exercise to feel better and eventually get off their medication? Why are many physicians lacking education in nutrition? Because they would become dangerous for the pharma companies that teach put so much effort to teach them right things.

I can sign with both hands uder what Dr. Niles said about doctors. You want some proofs - first watch "Food Matters" - full version.

Have you ever wondered why cancer therapies are so out-dated in the States compared to the rest of the world? Watch "Gerson's miracle therapy" for some explanations.

For a dessert watch "Simply raw: reversing diabetes in 30 days"

Not everything is verified in these movies but majority of things mentioned there I believe to be correct, so everybody should watch it to get their own conclusions.
