When one distributor lies, that could be seen as the distributor's fault. When the distributor's higher ups are clearly informed that the distributor is violating Federal laws to sell a product and the distributor isn't fired, I think you'd agree that is a more systemic problem.

Read the site, Lugia. It's a lot more than one distributor. A lot more.

“The Acai berry is the only complete whole food in the world, if you were stranded on a deserted island and could eat only the Acai, you would show no sign of malnutrition.”

Oh how I wish the distributors would test theories like this on themselves!"

Sure. I'd test the theory any day. Just because one distributor caused a huge mess up and lied doesn't mean you should talk down the business. There's always some mess up somewhere in any business, but you'd really have to have legit information these days to prove things right. I love monavie with everything in me: so I feel.

"Those of you skeptical of multi level management companies I understand…as soon as you see a payment structure in the shape of a pyramid; you think it's a scam. The difference with this one is that there is an actual product that not only works, but is also clinically proven and recognized in medical journals around the world."

You know, because the skeptics just can't see a good deal when it's in a pyramid.

JS,
Thanks for exposing another deceitful MV distributor making the same old illegal health claims.

Ian makes at least one other illegal (untrue) statement in the news section below his main comments:
"13 servings of fruit in recommended daily dose (4floz)"

We all know that Ian should have said that MV has "the *approximate antioxidant capacity* of 5-13 servings of [low-ORAC] fruits (such as watermelon)." But MV does not even equal the antioxidant capacity of even one apple, prune, or a cup of blueberries.

I'm sure that his comments regarding the Acai berry are also untrue:
“The Acai berry is the only complete whole food in the world, if you were stranded on a deserted island and could eat only the Acai, you would show no sign of malnutrition.”

He also sets the reader up to infer health claims by discussing cancer and other diseases in the news section also.

Ian's fraudulent behavior should qualify him for a different kind of bonus: A distributor pink slip (immediate termination) and a fine from the FTC and FDA.

"Clincally proven" doesn't mean anything, and can be easily used to misled someone.

The scam product Lipozene:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipozene

http://www.dietresearch.com/diet-reviews/lipozene/

is advertised as a "clincally proven" way to lose body fat. Turns out the pills (that come in slickly designed packages to look prescription grade) are pretty much just fiber, which you can get pounds of for the same price. Sure, fiber can help you loose body fat, but a prune can do the same job for less than the 30 bucks that this product costs.

Sounds very familiar to another product, doesn't it?

That was the first and hopefully last scam I fell for. If you remember the Lipozene commericals from 2006-2007, they were very slick and definitely put one over on me. I ended up in a battle getting them to stop charging my credit card.

What angers me most about MonaVie is the claims being made by distributors (whom the company conviently cannot control) about insomnia, depression, arthitis, etc. That is irresponsible and dangerous.
